The ideal Java Architect Associate must possess 9+ years of experience and possess the capability to establish an enterprise architecture to drive IT transformation across existing applications and environments. The responsibilities include defining the technical architecture and roadmap, applying domain-driven design and microservices architecture to create meaningful APIs that reflect business capabilities, and utilizing technology tools and processes to solve business problems.
We are looking for a skilled Java Architect Associate who can form and manage a highly technical and dynamic team, responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge software.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of software developers with a diverse range of responsibilities, including software architecture, design, development, unit testing, and software configuration management.
- Ensure the creation of software that is optimized, well-organized, and maintainable.
- Monitor ongoing risks and provide resolutions, drive process improvements, and manage resource planning and optimization and performance management.
- Utilize Jenkins for automating provisioning and configuration for deployment, jar creation, plugins, jobs, and server configuration.
- Design and implement JUnit test cases throughout the application.
- Analyze and construct frameworks using Java code, ORACLE PL/SQL, and stored procedures.
- Serve as a mentor to team members by conducting code reviews, sharing industry best practices, and training junior developers in systems analysis, programming, and program coding.
- Take responsibility for designing, developing, and implementing application infrastructure to provide highly complex, reliable, and scalable applications.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficient in Java with Hibernate and API development, with expertise in J2EE technologies such as:
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2Ee, JPA, JSP, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Extensive experience in microservices development using Java Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Design Patterns.
- Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL, and Postgres.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Couchbase and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in development tools such as Apache Ant, Maven, JUnit, Eclipse, Subversion, Jenkins, Gradle, Sonar, and Review Board.
- In-depth understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Extensive experience in JAVA, Spring (Core, Security, Boot, MVC, Batch, AOP, Data JPA, Data Rest), Hibernate, JAX-RS, Database Design and Development, Mobile (iOS and Android) & Web Development.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures.
- Experience in implementing DevOps, with exposure to all DevOps areas like Source Control, Continuous Integration, Infra Automation, and Continuous Deployment.
Technical Area of Expertise
- Essential experience in microservices development using Java Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures and Design Patterns.
- Experiences with RDBMS such as Oracle and MS SQL.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Couchbase and MongoDB.
- A plus if the candidate has web development experience using ReactJS.
- Experience in developing and deploying applications in the AWS Cloud environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant software development experience.
- Background in executing large-scale technology modernization projects.
- Knowledge of relational data design, NoSQL, and Big Data technologies.
- Understanding of Application Security Models.
- Exposure to DevOps areas such as Source Control, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure Automation, and Continuous Deployment.
